In 1899 Yonkers Raceway was founded as Empire City Race Track, is the one-half-mile standard bred harness of racing dirt track even New York state-approved the slots racino placed in the junction of Yonkers Avenue and Central Park Avenue at Yonkers, New York close to New York City border.
