Cash Game & Tournament Offer
The variety of cash games that you will find on BetMGM Poker does vary a lot. There is always going to be a great choice of different games if you are a fan of playing no-limit hold’em. This varies from as low as $0.01/$0.02 up to the $10/$20 when you are still getting a good choice of tables and great liquidity.
When you go to the higher stakes, then you will find that it is a lot scarcer in terms of the number of players who are involved and available to play against. This is why a lot of the time it turns into you ending up playing head-to-head at the higher sets of blinds unless you are able to play at the absolute peak hours of traffic over the weekends. This is why the likes of the nine-seater no limit tables will often always have a seat or two empty when you are looking at the lobby list for cash games.
In terms of fixed-limit games, no matter what stakes you are looking to play or what hour of the day, it can be difficult trying to get into a well-stocked table.
In terms of tournaments, the sit and go offering is probably the poorest part of the BetMGM Poker legal offering. You can start with buy-ins as low as $1 and this rises up to $500.
There are heads-up options also well as multi-seater events, with a turbo variant also being on offer for those players who like to play quickly. The sit and gos as a whole are not overly popular on the BetMGM Poker legit site, with some competitors such as PokerStars being a better option if this is your main area of focus.
In terms of multi-table tournaments, the selection is quite good at BetMGM Poker. There are events held on a daily basis, as well as regular major tournaments. This will see many thousands of players battling it out for decent prize pools. The daily tournaments do get less support, with the buy-in ranging from $5 to $20. The weekend tournaments have buy-ins from $5 all the way up to $535. Some of the prizes on offer can be quite lucrative.
Welcome Bonus & Promotions
Just like most online poker sites, you will find a welcome bonus package on offer if you are signing up for an account with BetMGM Poker. These types of offers will vary from operator to operator. With BetMGM Poker, you will get your first deposit matched 100%, up to a max bonus of $1,000. This is an ideal way to get your new account off on the right foot.
The other part of this BetMGM poker bonus welcome offer sees you getting free bonus funds to play with. This is worth $25 in total. Of this sum, $10 will be reserved for playing cash games, with the remaining $15 going towards entering tournaments. You will receive the cash game bonus funds when you have earned your first iReward loyalty point on the BetMGM Poker platform. The tournament bonus funds will be credited to your BetMGM Poker account straight away.
In order to be able to cash out the BetMGM Poker bonus funds, you will need to meet the wagering requirements. Your deposit bonus will be released to you in increments of 10%. You will then need to wager this increment x20 before releasing the next increment. This is quite a standard wagering rate in the online poker space these days.
Bonus & Condition details
Rake & VIP Program
The rake rate at BetMGM Poker is pretty average for the sector. For cash games of $10/$20 and lower, the rake rate is going to be $0.01 for every $0.18 that is in the pot for no-limit and pot-limit games. The max allowable rake per hand varies depending on the stake sizes you are playing. In order for you to have to pay into the rake in a given game, you will need to have been dealt cards.
For tournaments, the rake rate will be included in the entry fee for the tournament. This will vary, with some tournaments not even requiring a buy-in so there will be no rake rate. Typically, not more than 20% of your buy-in will be going to the house in the form of a rake fee.
There is a comprehensive VIP program in place at BetMGM Poker. You can earn credit to your loyalty account no matter what type of MGM Resorts game you are playing in retail facilities or online.
Currently, there are five different levels in this loyalty program. You will be automatically enrolled into the loyalty program after you have signed up for your BetMGM Poker account. In order to get to the highest tier, you will have to receive an invite. There is no way for you to achieve enough points through regular play to get access to this tier.
Traffic & Network
With BetMGM Poker, you have access to a decent player base. You will be well looked after when it comes to no-limit hold’em cash games in particular, from micro-stakes all the way up to the $10/$20 range. When you go to higher stakes, the player pool thins out and oftentimes you will have to play heads-up in these cases.
The sit and gos on BetMGM Poker are not inundated with traffic, but the tournaments always get a good crowd. These events range from daily to weekly and monthly multi-table tournaments. Overall, you will have access to a decent player pool with the BetMGM Poker legit offering.
At the moment, BetMGM Poker is part of a network with Borgata Poker and PartyPoker, which means that the player pools, tournaments and cash games traffic are all shared out among each other, which adds to the overall experience. There is also a BetMGM Poker test offering you can try out if you are dealing with traffic issues.
Mobile Poker App
You are able to play at the BetMGM Poker legal site through your mobile device if you wish to do so. This allows you to play your favorite games no matter where you may be. There is a dedicated BetMGM Poker app on offer for both Android and iOS devices. You also have the ability to play through your mobile device’s web browser if you do not want to download the app.
This mobile offering is basically a slimmed-down version of the desktop site, so the transition from one to the other is pretty seamless. You are able to download the app from the BetMGM Poker legit website or you can go to the iOS App Store. The gameplay is smooth and most features from the desktop site make it over to this mobile offering.

Payment Options
If you are looking to add funds to your BetMGM Poker account, you have a few different ways of doing so. These following options can be used: ACH transfer, PayPal, prepaid card, cashier at the Borgata Casino, bank transfer, PayNearMe, Skrill, Visa card or MasterCard. Sometimes the card deposits will get declined. This is because there are a lot of banks in the United States that do not allow money transfers to online gambling sites.
Most of the deposit methods will see your funds processed almost instantly to your BetMGM Poker account, except for the bank transfer.
Generally, the e-wallet options like Skrill and Neteller will be best-suited when making a withdrawal. This is because they process quicker than most of the other withdrawal options. BetMGM Poker does not charge you any fees for making a withdrawal, but do note that your bank or the third-party platform you use to remove funds may have their own set of fees.
Usability & Software
For the most part, the BetMGM Poker platforms are very easy to use. The classy black and gold color scheme is iconic when you consider the MGM Resorts owners. This color scheme makes the white text really stand out, allowing you to easily read any and all text.
There is a very simplistic approach also taken to the BetMGM Poker site, which means that you are not going to be inundated with information. The navigation system is straightforward and the general speed is good. The lobbies for poker games are well-laid out, allowing you to quickly see how many players are playing certain types of games.
The usability of the BetMGM Poker mobile app is just as good as what you see on the desktop. Therefore, you will rarely, if ever, run into problems with this online poker software.
