Churches and schools may also legally conduct these games as long as they obtain a permit from the government. Players under the age of 18 may participate in bingo games as long as they are accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult. For raffle, the minimum age of a participant must be at least 18 years. Minors, even accompanied by their elders, aren’t allowed to participate.

Montana explicitly specifies online gambling as an unlawful gambling enterprise. In 2005, the state passed legislation prohibiting gambling over the Internet, that means that all types of online gambling that involve real money are prohibited.
