Enjoy safe and secured  North Carolina casinos

If you live in North Carolina or are planning to visit the state, and you love gambling, then you have come to the right place. We have a directory of all the best and most secure gambling options ready and waiting for you to browse through at your liberty.

In actual fact, there are very few land-based casinos in North Carolina. The casinos that do exist are mainly owned by the Indian tribes. In the beginning, there was a discord between the state government and the tribes with regards the setting up of gambling facilities, but over recent years the state of North Carolina has seen a major increase in the operation of casinos as the disputes settled in favor of gambling.

Currently, the state has only 2 fully regulated casinos; Cherokee Tribal Bingo and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. Wagers at the commercial casinos in North Caroline go from $0.01 to $100. As with any gambling facility all across the globe, make sure that you do your research before visiting to ensure that that casino:

  • Is highly rated on review sites across the internet. Any casino with few reviews or poor reviews may not be safe to play in
  • Has a quick and easy registration process
  • Doesn’t require players to abide by a specific dress code. (If they do, make sure you are properly prepared)
  • Will keep all of your personal data and information totally protected in all instances
  • Allows you to start gambling with small wagers so that you can increase your bets if and when you feel confident enough to do so
  • Provides you with many game selections, as well as all the most recent games, so that you have a great experience
  • Offers large jackpots to be won
  • Hosts an array of tournaments

So there you have it. We hope that this information was helpful for you in your journey to finding the top casinos that North Carolina has to offer. Browse through our list of casinos in and around the state to see which options are best, as well as the most convenient, for you.

Due to the state’s Orthodox Bible culture, gambling laws in North Carolina are strict and limit almost all types of gambling, except several ones – one casino on Tribal land, a little charity gaming, the state lottery and some bingo games.

Commercial Casinos

This means jail time up to 30 days and the fines up to $1000.

Tribal Casinos

It offers classic table games, video and table poker, as well as Las Vegas style slots with over 600 games – Cats N Dogs, Five Times Pay, Triple Bonanza, Wild Cherry and Triple Diamond are among them. The casino also runs a high-stakes bingo parlor. Only 21 years old and older players can participate in the games.

These forms of gambling were once permitted by the state – from the late 1940s to 1954. But, since 1954, anyone who is caught dabbling with illegal pari-mutuel wagering and horse or greyhound betting is charged with Class II misdemeanor.
