Social gambling is the kind of gambling which occurs between two or more participants who have what is called a “bona fide social relationship.” This “bona fide relationship” must have been established based upon common interests other than gambling. The money wagered during social gambling goes out as prizes. Furthermore, no other party other than the players involved in the wager can profit from their game or whatever bet they have agreed on.
Basically, social gambling relies on having the strict presence of that bona fide social relationship between the players and the act of gambling itself is not a move to generate profit for other than the players involved.
