Panintelligence, a provider of business intelligence and predictive analytics tools, has launched its first hosted software as a service (SaaS) product via Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.

This opens up a huge new potential market of SaaS customers around the world.

The move is a strategic pivot for the Leeds-based software industry, in response to dramatic growth in demand for hosted services triggered by the impact of the pandemic on the software market since 2020.

The developer’s first hosted SaaS product will offer new growth potential.

It enables software vendors and customers with smaller development resources and infrastructure to more quickly integrate and use the Pi BI solution that enables decisions to be based on real-time insights from data already held by customers.

The product will make the company’s Pi software tools accessible to a new market of software vendors, increasing the company’s market potential and enabling faster potential revenue growth.

Panintelligence co-founder and CEO Zandra Moore said, “We have always followed market demands in the development of Pi and the introduction of our first hosted SaaS product was in response to a change in the way vendors and developers want to deploy our tools. , we provide more of the supply and reduce the workload of their development teams.

“We are still able to deploy our solutions in our existing customers’ own servers.

“But our experience of the dramatic shift in demand from on-premises to SaaS delivery was the driving force behind the rapid development of PiSaaS to deliver what agile, fast-scaling vendors wanted – hosted SaaS tools – and that greatly expands our potential market.

The launch is the culmination of an 18-month program of product and service redevelopment.

COO Charlotte Bailey added, “Panintelligence’s mission has always been to democratize data and enable agility, and this move further unlocks the value of knowledge to a whole new market of providers and customers so that everyone, regardless of the field of activity in which he works. , can access what they need in real time and become truly data-driven businesses.

“By offering Pi as a hosted software service, PiSaaS gives these organizations access to the same operational and compliance benefits typically available only to large organizations, without a large upfront investment.”

Panintelligence was founded by Ken Miller and Zandra Moore in 2014 and has over 200,000 users of its Pi dashboard.

The company secured a Series A fundraising in November 2019 and employs 42 people at its headquarters.
